Crashing during mapping - rolling back char and loosing loot

It's as the title says, I'm crashing/DC during maps, breachstones etc... and when I log back in I've lost all the loot I've picked up, lost the map/breachstone I've farmed and invested currency into and I'm left frustrated, annoyed and with an empty inventory for my wasted efforts.
