Cosmetics

Do we plan to have good looking cosmetics just for playing game or if we want to look not like a hobo we should pay 45 bucks?
First game was pretty ugly and I can get that, it was old. This game look good, but default gear looks banal and old, microtransaction gear looks even older straight from 2000s korean MMOs. Would like to have an opportunity to get some cosmetics just for playing a game, at least 1 set for a season.
