Breach sometimes freezes the game, but game is still responsive

This happens relatively often, i'd say like 1 in 15 breaches I do, shortly after I open the breach, the game simply freezes as if you've paused the game.

Strangely, this isn't a freeze in the way you might expect if the game crashed, the game is still responsive and I am able to open my inventory, options looking around in settings etc. I just simply cannot do any actions and I am stuck in that position until I quit the game. This also instantly loses me my map and all portals to the zone, is kind of frustrating.


I have no idea what triggers this beyond it simply being related to seemingly breach specifically.
