Act 2 Motion Sickness
I am someone who suffers from somewhat intense motion sickness. I cannot be in cars for long, and small boats make me suffer immensely. Games do not often trigger it, but unfortunately Act 2 does, specifically the Town, and the two zones at the end of the act.
Something about the "moving" floor underneath the static platforms causes motion sickness if I look at it, even in my peripheral. It's very unpleasant, and effectively prevents me from leveling new characters. I stomached it for my first, but it drains my motivation to level new ones when I have to go lay down for 10 minutes in-between zones. I would like to request an option that disables the moving ground, or blacks it out entirely or something. I don't care if the illusion of movement is shattered, I'll take the loss if it means I can keep playing. In Path of Exile 1, there was a setting added that worked wonderfully. Veritanias Arena had a spiraling staircase, with a camera trick to make it look like you were spiraling up it. This did actually trigger my motion sickness, but enabling the option disabled the camera change, letting me play that boss without issue. I do really like this game, so I hope you make the same accommodations that you did for your first game. Thank you. Last bumped on Jul 16, 2025, 1:04:00 PM

Man the moving platform is so bad for my motion sickness.
the game needs a re-title. "Moving Path Of Exclusion" I'm not even going to bother playing any further, shame as I loved Act 1. |
