Second Set Quarterstaff & Hand of Chayula Bug?

Hey, I'm doing a build where I have two quarterstaves in each set, one for dps and another for applying curses with the perk tree weapon set separation going for each. One bug(?) I'm running into though is when I use Hand of Chayula on my second quarterstaff to apply Conductivity, Voltaic Mark, and Enfeeble on an enemy, and then I go to kill them with my damage quarterstaff, I notice they don't do the nova of Voltaic Mark like they used to before I ran 2 staves. But the strange thing is, is that when I kill them with the same quarterstaff that applied the mark, they still explode.

This just has me wondering if all my curses/marks are still being applied to the target or not, or if this is just a bug.

Actually after some testing it seems that my Enfeeble wouldn't apply either? Even when using one quarterstaff, the icon wouldn't pop up above their head or under their health bar until I made Enfeeble the first socketed gem. Does Hand of Chayula only apply the first few curses?

Ok, so my issue has been partially resolved, due to learning that mobs can only have one curse applied at a time. I misunderstood the wording of Hand of Chayula, and believed it applied everything. But I have also heard that you can apply one mark and one curse on the same enemy online, so my question still stands about why Voltaic Mark only novas when I kill them with the weapon that applies the mark. Any ideas on that?

I just tried a staff build with deadeye and I'm not sure if it's a ranger/deadeye thing but hand of chayula is just bugged in general I believe. It's very inconsistent when it comes to landing the blow. At first I thought it was an accuracy thing but then I read the "Can't be evaded" line on the gem. Maybe it's a WASD thing too cause I realised it's way more consistent when I stop moving to use it and it also feels like the further away i am from the mobs the higher the chance of actually getting a hit in.
