Delirium encounter did not properly start Bug Report ID: #369611159

I had a Delirium encounter in a T8 Vaal Factory map that did not properly start. I went through the mirror and the "end encounter" and "destillate counter" indicators both appeared, but no delirium monsters showed up and there's no fog only those white "flakes". The encounter also doesn't end and the destillate counter doesn't increase when I kill anything.



After completing the map and discovering every last corner, there's still "50 monsters remain" and the delirium encounter is still on:



After ending the delirium encounter via the button, the white flakes disappear, but nothing else happens. There are still supposed to be > 50 monsters on the map.

Can confirm on many maps. Won't start or ends early or won't end at all
Today I had a similar experience again, except this time the delirium monsters appeared, but then only the fog disappeared, but not the white flakes and the timer didn't show up for a very long time.

So I tried to completely clear the map taking all the time in the world, only when I walked towards the starting point again, the timer eventually started running down and the loot dropped.

I always found more crystal pockets with delirium monsters and they opened regularly.




Occasionally I also found delirium monsters that got stuck in animation.



I personally prefer it if delirium encounters would be without timers but instead with increasing difficulty so you have to stop it yourself if it gets too hard but otherwise you could do the encounter in the speed your build allows. Especially if you run into a lot of rares it's a real problem to progress, no to speak of the loot you more or less have to keep lying on the ground to not lose time...
