Kabala relic missing in cruel (not possible to re-loot it)

I have seen this issue popped up somewhere here as well but can't find it again.

The issue is : I did the first quest in normal while having both Kabala's relic in inventory, the I went in cruel to place it but switching difficulty seems to have deleted it from my inventory.

I said : not that bad I am going back to Kesh to loot it... and have been doing 10times the map without any luck.

It seems buggy that in case of mistake (deleting, dropping, disappearing) this quest item is completely impossible to loot again.

My Infernalist (Tikkia is the name) however needs very badly the life regen by flask that the Act 2 cruel quest reward can give... soooo I hope I do not have to reroll to fix this (currently lv 60) or consider another build just because of it.
