can ggg pls put all their official updates on their website again?

i m a boomer. i typically check the website for any source of updates.

the most recent post on the website is "upcoming changes"

ggg then proceeded to apply the patch but did not announce the patch has been made on the website nor on the forums.

i get that it was done too close to the holiday season and they were hurrying things up.

i suspect that they had made a scheduled post that was supposed to release coinciding the patch's update, some of us forummers saw an "empty post" instead, so ggg just deleted that post or hid it.

whatever it is, i would prefer if all official info be released or echo'd onto the official website.

i dont want to scour reddit and twitter or some streamer's podcast just to piece together the most recent news.

in fact i find it disappointing that this is currently the case.

understandable due to the holidays and the poe2 problems but now that the holidays are over i hope ggg does better

I agree that they should include more informative things on the website, instead of just on Twitter or wherever else.

But they don't post announcements for every patch, and they did post patch notes for each of the patches they released earlier.

they did that but where's the one that mentioned they've implemented the patch notes that were mentioned in "Path of Exile 2: Upcoming Changes and Improvements"?

iirc it was only posted on the subreddit.

for such a big patch, theres a lot of patch notes that were not posted on the official site

Agreed. Imo all updates should appear on the official site. What's the point of the "News" section then if it's just implied everyone uses Twitter?
They've at least started working on visibility for the EA sections of the forum: some forums are now being labeled as being for PoE 1, and the "PoE 2 EA" forum category is no longer collapsed by default.

this is what i want but with the caveat, for such a scale of the patch notes, it should have been put on front page.

something along the "we have just deployed the recent patch with the full notes below"

for small patches/hotfixes its useful to have on the front page but not too necessary.

this is a huge patch.

i think ggg could start separating the news by making poe2 website "live".

put all poe2 related info there and migrate the poe2 forums there specifically.

+1000

I don't use twitter or whatever social media they announce anything at the moment.
There's a reason they have a homepage and a forum, why not use it to announce stuff.

Even a copy pasted twitter message takes mere seconds to post as a small announcement on the Homepage. Please for the love of Chris inform us boomers :D
This should always be the first place news and updates are posted.

I will never use X.

it's just a cesspool of propaganda and misinformation.
