Game Crashing Using Bluetooth Audio

Running the game via steam.
After logging out earlier today my client downloaded a small (~88kb) patch. Every time I've tried to play since using my Beats Fit Pro ear buds which connect to my PC via blue tooth, the game either crashes on the initial loading screen or the audio does not work when I log in and crashes immediately when I get into a map.
I cold booted my PC among other things to fix. Using my standard Steel Series USB connected headset works fine.
