Trial of Chaos Skip - Second Ascendency

I ran into a bug that skipped the entire Trial of Chaos to gave me the Second Ascendancy points without doing the trial.

I entered the Temple of Chaos and input the Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum, but did not choose a modifier. I talked to the Trial master to listen to all his voice lines. I decided not to start the trial until I had more time to complete it in my next gaming session so I created a Portal, left the zone, and logged off. About 3-4 hours later I logged onto my character and entered my Portal. This put me at the final room of the Trial of Chaos with my ascendancy points available for pickup. Since I did not do all waves of the trial, I did not get the rewards for the waves but still got my ascendancy points. The Trial of Chaos quest is complete.

Update - Went to the Temple of Chaos to check the alter and the Chimeral Inscribed Ultimatum quest item is still in the alter.
