Tried to link accounts, bugged. (SOLVED)

I started playing through my Steam login and only decided today to create an actual account, so I linked the two (not knowing that I'd already created one for POE).

My POE2 characters aren't showing up when I login and I can use the trading site any longer.

Is there something to be done to link the steam game with my account, so they work together (and I can access the trading site etc.)?
