Game "Crashing" during Breach Events

Have had 3 "crashes" during breach events where the game freezes, but still plays. Audio is continuing and not looping. No control of character. Screen does not move. Only way to end it is to log out (tried going to character selection). Upon re-entering have found my character died with 10% xp loss, lose the map and waystone, and no longer have any items that were picked up. This has resulted in 3 divine orbs being lost.
