MOVEMENT SPEED

I see this as a major game issue now, we were told that the game is supposed to be slower and everyone got cut on movement speed, no more breezing with 300% MS like in poe 1.

But in reality it was all nothing but a lie, there is a temporalis that runs the huge map not in 10 seconds with no CD blink, there is tempest flurry, a quarterstaff skills that moves directly scaling with attack speed, my friend in game who has 20 attacks per second, can clear a huge map in about 10-15 seconds. While for the most players reading this thread it will take 6-10 minutes just to run through that map without counting any time spent on fighting and killing mobs.

Clearly, there is incredible fast movement speed, which is gatekept for a select few builds/broken items/broken skills.

There is no balance in this game, even with 35% MS boots, you will be like a turtle compared to those that teleport around.

Now what annoys it even further, is that there is a %MS punishment for wearing armours or being a sorceror, why is that even the case?

I feel like there shoul be a fair opportunity for all classes and buils to somewhat scale their movement speed with progression into the game, and I would say that optimal value judging the size of the maps, is around 65-100% movement speed.

So 30-60% more from 35% MS boots.

That’s just an excuse, the game is clearly designed for consoles, and it shows in the new controls: heavier, with inertia, and losing the agility we had back when the game was meant to be played exclusively with a mouse. Gauntlet was the “slower” version of the game, but by slower it referred to the power imbalance between players and enemies, you couldnt kill everything before it appeared on screen. Still, the character control felt just as agile and responsive as always. POE2, on the other hand, feels like youre controlling your overweight uncle. Console players are used to that and wont see an issue, but for strict PC and mouse players, POE2s controls feel terrible compared to POE1
I don't know about other weapons/skills, but shotgun-crossbow WASD + mouse feels pretty nice to me...

As for OP, this is a beta, and hadn't one of these 'unfair' examples : Blink, already been nerfed in January ?

(Not to mention we now have Sprint, so a bit unfair to necro that post ?)
