Atziri's Disdain + Chaos Inoculation

Atziri's Disdain still gives me ES based on my max life I had before I specced in CI.

If you have taken Chaos Inoculation (CI) and are using the unique helmet Atziri's Disdain, you should receive additional energy shield. One of the effects of Atziri's Disdain is to convert a portion of your maximum life into additional maximum energy shield.

This means that even if you have taken CI and your life is reduced to 1, you can still gain extra energy shield from this helmet because it calculates based on your original maximum life.

That is the intended effect it seems.
They may patch it out in the future, but that is how it works.
