Erratic Network Ping - Strictly a POE2 Issue

Hello,

I have been playing POE2 and having severe jitter and ping spikes. My ping will sit within a normal range for a short period of time and then jitter up to 200 ms often and on occasion up to and beyond 500ms. I have tried uninstalling the game, verifying game files, resetting my network, but there has been no solution.

This issue only appears on path of exile 2. While playing other games that require internet connection, like FPS games I have no issues.

Having the same problem. It is super intermittent. sometimes I have a smooth like 33-36ms and other times it bounces all over the place. Tried texas, DC, and cali gateways as well

Same issue on Australia server. I will change my server to New Zealand but it will lock me to Australia.

Yeah I have tried all the near by gateways as well. I have been told that using a VPN fixes it but I don't think I should have to pay a VPN for a smooth game.

There's a 100+ page thread about this with zero Dev/Company feedback on it.

Encounter this a few times, and just wait a few minutes and all will be over. Luckily didn't encounter this issue in the middle of any fights yet. Playing hardcore btw, and on Singapore server.

With the release of the patch from 06.01.2025, the game just stopped working! the processor has started to load even more, the network jumps from 70 to 1000. Changing DNS doesn't help, and changing the server doesn't help either.
