Account merging

I merged my steam acct and xbox account and it shows I have 2 accounts now, if I buy POE 2 on both xbox and steam will my characters be cross progressed ACROSS both the 2 accounts?

For information on sub-accounts, you can visit our Account System Update thread.
Once your Path of Exile account is properly linked to both Steam and Xbox and you have merged your accounts, you should see that your in-game progress will update cross-platform. Please do keep in mind which sub-account you use, as characters on one sub-account cannot be accessed without switching to that sub-account in the character select screen.
