Mahuxotls + Mana Amulets

Ive just run into a bug where using Mahuxotl's is having a strange interaction with amulets that have anything to do with mana.

I have 9300 mana with Mahuxotl's shield with + mana soul cores and the Everlasting gaze amulet on. When I take everlasting gaze off - I go to 11,4k mana (an empty neck slot). When I socket any other neck that has mana, I go down. When I put a white rarity neck on, it stays at 11.4k.

Is this a known bug?

This appears to be strength related with mahxotls shield, anything over 79 strength causes the mana to drop like a rock.

Today i am unable to find a workaround anymore.
