Massive network lag spikes

Hi how can I fix this massive network lag spike that I get everytime I encounter large amount of mobs?
My ping goes from 10-15ms to 600-1000 ms whenever I encounter large monsters for 3-5 seconds. I'm pretty sure its not my computer and my internet because they are both good and I'm running 4070 RTX. I've tried lowering graphics, changing network to predtiable, updating nvdia card, resetting modem, switching servers etc but all don't work. i dont have any issues like this from playing different games. can someone help? Open up NVIDIA Controller on your PC, go to 3D Settings and find 'Shader Cache' change the shader cache from default/auto to 100GB. Save and reboot.

Did you change your renderer to Vulkan or is it on Directx12/11? Vulkan is the more stable renderer right now so that might help.
