Auras/Cast On 'X' Abilities Unable to be Used with Demon Form

Encountering an inability to enter demon form when, in my instance, having Cast on Freeze allocated On.
I have the base amount of Spirit needed to use it even after Demon Form removes additional Spirit. I have even tried to remove all Spirit adding gear to see if it was trying to pull from the "wrong pool".
My only work around is turning Cast on Freeze Off, entering Demon Form, then turning Cast on Freeze back On.
My entire build is centering around freezing enemies. So you can imagine having to manually turn the aura on and off inbetween uses is ridiculous, but is my only choice at the moment.
