Friends List got deleted on PS5

Hello everyone and happy new year,
just wanted to let you know that a couple of days ago I ran into the issue that my whole friendslist got deleted.
I am currently playing on PS5 and I also had some network issues that day. But I am not sure if this is connected to the loss of the friendslist.
It was not much of a hustle for me because I am currently only playing with a hand full of people and was able to get their names again, but it could be a major issue for people who don't have any other way to contact their in game friends.
