I was enjoying this game until I got to lvl 70 & endgame

act 1-3 (first playthrough) was pretty challenging but doable (new experience for everyone)

act 1-3 cruel was an absolute breeze

endgame - WTF is this?!

doesn't matter what I do, I get absolutely stomped - I can't get passed tier 2 maps (only completed 2), I can't get through the sekhemas or chaos trials (to get the other 4 ascendancy points) - farming act maps for any kind of gear or materials is pointless - the drop rate for anything remotely usefullis close to non-existent. I MIGHT be doing well on tier maps then I end up dying over and over, resulting it losing all XP , unable to level up

ive followed guides, tips, everything, but the flow in the endgame has completely killed the game for me.

I was enjoying it until now - I have made 0 progress within a week (around 90hrs total play time)


things need to change

Early end game does kinda suck for all the reasons you listed.

However, you shouldn't be dying that much in T1/2 maps unless you have no resists and no damage.

End game has a lot of issues with it's progression and just a total lack of interest in the RNG nature of it, but you shouldn't be bricked from early game maps that easily.

Your gonna get #SkillIssued on a post like this and the reality is it is a skill issue, something with your build or your abilities are off.

for me its fine. You should use trading to get better items. They are really cheap and much much better then trying to farm alone.

What annoys me to no end is that i have to chase like 5 mobs around the massive map for like half an hour. i think of just quitting before they adress this. This is really poisoning my enjoiment with this game.

im using an ice strike monk - I was doing fine until endgame -

following guides etc

my res and damage are apparently ok - but im having the worst luck with drops

well - ggg got my money

its like having the best pizza ever created, only to shit your pants not long after

nope - im done. RNG is diabolical - can't progress anymore same shit over and over

not worth my time - possibly the most disappointing ARPG ive played

If you haven't yet, why not give PoE a try? You might find it enjoyable. =^[.]^=

Yeah, give PoE a try. PoE2 is so undercooked, it needs to stay easily 2 more years in the oven

Yes this game is rough so rough that now I actually wish I had waited for it’s release but honestly I don’t think they can fix this mess not for years anyway

This game as It stands right is straight up obnoxious and cruel
