I bricked POE2, please help? (FIXED)

Hi there,
I was having overheating issues yesterday so I messed with the graphic settings of the game to see if it would help.

Well, I changed the DirectX Setting from DX12 to DX11.

Now my game will freeze after the GGG title screen, making it impossible to get into the game and revert the settings.

I have tried Steam Backup of the game, deinstall / reinstall. Didnt work.
So I deinstalled and re-downloaded the 90GB.

It still will not work.

This basically means the game is bricked and I cannot play -.-

How do I change the graphic settings without having to actually be in the game?

Please tell me its possible.

You go to My Documents>My Games>Path of Exile 2

Inside that folder there should be a config file called "poe2_production_Config"

Open it with Notepad,at the very top of this text file under the [DISPLAY] line there should be a line saying "renderer_type=DirectX11", just change the number to 12,click File and Save on notepad and close the file. That should change your setting back to directx12.
