Weapon Skill Point Respec Bug

There seems to be a rampant bug that, when respeccing spent weapon skill points, the skill point used for that point is not refunded. I was unaware of this and refunded (I believe) 9 weapon skill points and have now lost those skill points entirely. Has anyone found a workaround for this bug or is my build bricked until GGG fixes this one?

Also, relogging, respeccing regular skill points, speccing to jewel slots to ensure those weren't bugged and restarting steam entirely did not help. I didn't try leveling up yet to see if that'd help, considering my character is significantly weakened & I'm at the start of level 88...

Holy crap!

Every time I try to load a passive tree on my character, it just crashes.
Some stats are fine, but my damage is reduced by 1/5.

I didn't know why, but based on the above,
I'm guessing it's a bug with today's patch on weapon 1,2 passives.

Mine is even worse, I can't even adjust passives because it always crashes,
and I can't do anything because of my low dps.

I think something needs to be done urgently. GGG
I don't think it's time to take a weekend off....?
You guys had a lot of issues over the holidays.
