Bonestorm no movement penalty bug

POE 2

As I understand it, bonestorm is supposed to slow your movement speed as you cast it. This seems to be one of the downsides of the spell, like many spells have, but especially for bonestorm since it's a channel.

So far, the bug has been easy for me to re-create and makes the "mobility" support worthless on bonestorm.

If you press the button to cast bonestorm, there is a delay before the spell goes off, even if you don't hold the button down. If you time a second press right as the spell would-have-cast-automatically, and hold that second press down, the spell will not slow your movement speed and lets you run around with a fully primed bonestorm. The second-press-hold is about a 0.25 second delay from my estimation.

Essentially, press > wait 0.25 seconds > press and hold bonestorm = no movement penalty for bonestorm. You can run around freely with the spell. It's way better than the mobility support since there is no movement penalty at all. I hope this feedback makes sense and was able to help with an issue! Sorry not sorry to anyone who was having fun abusing this, but I'd rather the game be how it's intended to be

The timing is before the (first) cast ends, then you have to hold down again inorder to lose the movement penalty, so the more cast speed you have, the shorter the delay becomes.
This applies to non channeling ablities as well, you simply press again right before the skill ends and you will get a short movement boost for non channeling attacks/spells.
