Act 3 Cruel Couch Coop Bugs

Trying to play a character who has not done Act 3 cruel, with another character who has finished it, will not allow you to use the waypoint to travel to Act 3 cruel in couch coop. All other waypoints work.

I tried to circumvent this by logging into each character in single player and putting them in the same zone. Neither player could move, minimap is blank, graphical issues when inventory is open. See Video.
