Stuck outside Viper Napuatzi fight after dodge rolling

During the Viper Napuatzi fight, I dodge rolled to avoid the "rolling" attack that the Vaal soldiers perform between phases. I think I dodged between one of the soldiers that was stepping forward which left enough gap. Now that they're standing still again, I can't go to town or finish the fight. The only way out is to respawn at checkpoint or get a party invite.
