Legacy of the Vaal (Speak to Doryani) not advancing on end game...bugged

I have two alts, both are stuck on the "Speak to Doryani" step of the Legacy of the Vaal questline. I've beaten Doryani and been to the end game town, I've spoke to him everywhere I possibly can and it won't clear. I'm not sure how this will affect me my mapping quest, I have cleared up to tier 9 with my main character but haven't tried mapping on my alts yet. Please fix :)

It goes away when you find the burning monolith on your atlas map and click it.

You can test this, Go to the Jungle Ruins (Curel) then walk to town. He should be there.

I'm having the same problem. Hopefully I'm not missing out on anything
