POE1 and POE2 PC semi-freeze on loading screen

What happens:
POE1 and POE2 start to freeze my computer. My mouse slows down to a snails speed. I can’t access task manager or change windows. If I let me PC running all night, sometimes I come back in the morning and everything is back to normal. Most of the time I have to hard reset my PC. Sometimes music stutters indefinitely.

When it happens:
When I have a loading screen, either portals or act areas. It also recently happened when a video started after act 2 in POE2.

Active Software and settings:
I use “Awakened POE” in POE1 and nothing in POE2. Both run on Steam, and I often have Google chrome opened. I switched between Vulkan and DirectX12 rendering without seeing any improvements. I play with double buffering (triple buffering off) and multithreading.

CPU AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core Processor 4.70 GHz
GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 version 566.36
RAM XPG Lancer Blade DDR5 6000MHz CL30 32GB (2x16GB)
SSD Samsung 990 PRO 1TB version 10.0.26100.1150
Windows 11 Home version 24H2

I cant even play poe1 anymore since poe2 launch, everytime i select my character it freezes my entire computer and i have to force restart my pc. All my tabs cosmetics….tf is going on at ggg

I have that problem too. PoE and PoE2 keep freezing when loading screen.
i have to turn off engine multithreading. but turn that option off make my PoE perfomance down.
