Unable to link my steam with my PS5 accounts

So I play POE2 on my Steam account. However, I have problems every time I enter the loading screen I have a very high chance of hard freezing my laptop and nothing will work except the hard reset my laptop by holding the power button. so I decided to buy POE2 on my PlayStation 5 When I logged in I had no character so I tried to link my Steam and my PSN together but I couldn't do that. it would give me an error. please help me with this issue because I really like this game but I always have some sort of problem. many thanks
The error message say: You cannot add this login method to this account. You cannot merge two accounts with the same login methods. Last bumped on Jan 7, 2025, 1:06:58 PM
