Hacked Account

My Account was created around when Alva was introduced into the game. My POE 1 account was linked to my Steam account before the launch. Maybe its on steam side, but I'm not sure. Never had any issues with account hacking since POE 1.

Lost about 180 divines worth of gear + currencies.

Played since the start of early accesses. All that time felt like a waste.

Can we please implement two factor authentication?

Do they let you log into POE without Steam still?!?!

Surely that stopped when they put it on Steam.

WOW! That's a major security issue that Steam needs to know about. I'm surprised they haven't dumped POE 1 until they got that fixed.

No wonder they haven't moved the authentication servers to steam like they should have.

steam has no involvement in this, they most likely just login through the standalone client

That's my point...

It's a Steam game now. They shouldn't have access to the game outside of Steam where someone PAID to buy the game.

There's something about that in the developer TOS.

I doubt it was some steam or stand alone client issue. Probably people logging in through sites wihtout checking where they log in properly or use programs that aren't really from reliable creators like macros trade tools etc.
