Temple of kopec checkpoint bug

I'm on the ps5. The checkpoint for the boss room of temple of kopec gets confused for the first checkpoint in temple of kopec. When I die I respawn at the beginning of the temple. When trying to teleport from that checkpoint to the boss room checkpoint it places me back at the first checkpoint in the temple.
