Bleed Question

Node in Blood Mage ascendency that allows elemental damage to inflict bleed.

My question is if a hit does 55 cold damage and 45 lightning damage in the single hit, is the bleed damage going to be based on the 100 damage total or just the highest single element in the hit (55 cold)?

It should be based on the attack and hit itself, Bleed by default can only have one instance at a time, the highest damage one. So if you're hitting a spell that has split damage, it shouldnt matter, just the hit itself.
