Help with performance? [updated]

1128 x 634, all settings lowest, no upscale, GPU slightly tuned and I'm dropping to 12 fps in busy fights.

Fps top/target 60, dynamic culling, tried different renderers and vulkan is most stable with best performance.

RX6600XT, R5 3600, 32GB RAM, win 10, only steam and poe2 running.

For a comparison Cyberpunk 2077 runs with upscale from 1760 x 990 to 1080p with ray tracing, during fights or busy areas, and rarely drops below 35 fps on high-ultra, and is stable 60 without RT.

Past 2 hour, no refund, so would like to actually play poe2 decently. Or at least stable enough with 1080 resolution - play it - and not experience slide-show while my PC is starting to fly with all the fans going 250% speed.


EDIT:
As mention in this thread - lowering audio channels and turning reverb off gave me at least 15 fps.

I can now do dense fights on dynamic resolution 1354 x 762 and maintain 30-40 fps maybe stuttering when things like Chimera drops all its attacks and effects at once.

In GPU-Z app does your bus interface show x16 on both values?

For lower end systems you shouldn't need Vulkan, your operating system is at fault I assume and I would do a complete refresh. With newer games I highly recommend Windows 11 and make sure to first download drivers that Windows update recommends and then fine tune drivers from that point.

most likely a CPU bottleneck. as in 99% chance its the CPU

I had to check your card specifically but that's actually fine, that's its actual output (I thought it would be x16, I'm only running a slightly better card than you apparently, the 1080ti).

My cpu is an intel 8700k (which your processor should be on par with at least!), In heavy battles it struggles to drop below 50fps but I run this game at native 3440x1440!

As I said, I highly recommend Windows 11 and try and nerd for a good day over graphics settings and research into high performance prioritization for the game, including shader saving to your fastest hard drive (and make sure you allow plenty of space for shader cache saving, I have mine at 10gb).

I understand. Thank you very much! Already have everything on rather new and fast nvme. Tomorrow I'll do extra cleaning inside pc as well - maybe some dust creature is the reason of my salt? If not happens - am already angry and salty on a daisy basis so another reason to be that wouldn't change a thing <_<
