Skills should cost at least 25% less Mana!

While I had mana problems up until around level 80ish, they have now balanced out, that being said the amount of investment both on gear and passives to achieve some level of sustain is too high, and the base mana cost of some spells vs dmg or effects seems too high and should be lowered slightly. The base mana cost for attacks is way too high, I have a friend playing Ranger who is OOM constantly even with as much leech/gear/passive/flask roll investment as possible. Attack skill mana cost should be halved. The Inspiration support shouldn't be a requirement for any attack/spell you plan on using more than once per second.

A little off topic question.
Having encountered these issues do you think mana conversion to infernal flame (infernalist) is a good ascendancy node?
Can't say I really agree on the whole. Mana management should be a thing, else there shouldn't be mana. And the rate of mana usage is a factor of your mana pool/regen, if you've taken nodes to reduce the cost, if you have taken nodes that let you spam skills faster, and if you've cranked up the cost of your skills through upping their level and/or the support gems you chose to put in them.

Basically, balancing your mana usage with your sustain is one of the many factors of making good build and gearing decisions.
