"stack size of simulacrum splinter" modifier doesn't work?

I actived "would you like to see my face?" in delirium skill, so when i found simulacrum splinters i got two of them. so far so good.
But when i manage to stack my waystone modifier by using Destilled Despair and tablet to 100+% increased stack size of simulacrum splinter, i still got 2 of them each time.
Shouldn't it be 3-4? Is that wrong or i was misunderstanding?

Yes, I am thinking the same. I feel like this is a bug it should be more.

Since this is still a current problem:

I tried a few things, like removing "would you like to see my face?" and only using stack size via destilled emotions (reached around 110-120%) but still always dropped only 1. It also did not affect boss amount dropped (was still 3-5 splinters).
I also feel like the emotion left to the one for increased stack size which gives increased amount of precursor tablets found does not work properly. It is 90% at max (plus modifiers from atlas passives etc) but I still got the same amount within ~30 maps as I got without this modifier.
Kinda feels like the Destilled Emotions generally do not work as intended.
