Guest: Ascent To Power - Search Traitor's Passage (Act 2 Cruel) is bugged.

Right now I am on Act 2 Cruel and I have a problem with the quest: Ascent To Power - Search Traitor's Passage. The case is: when I killed Balbala I died in that moment and could not get the items that he dropped. Right now I am not able to complete this quest. I am not sure if this is going to affect End Game mode and Ascendancy Points.
