Tome of Knowledge not granting 2 points after crash

I killed my first tier 14 map and got a Tome of Knowledge I from the boss along with 3 tier 15 maps and some stuff

The tier 15 are in my inventory but I read the book at the boss but did not put out the points on the atlas map. Few seconds later I froze in the game during a breach but the mouse kept working so I could interakt and see the mobs names etc. but all was frozen.

I ended the game and restarted it. Map was gone and I also had no points to set out in the Atlas Tree

Is the Tome of Knowledge a quest item that I wont retrieve again or is it chance to drop? How do I get my points to add to Atlas?

I have completed tier 12+ so I have 24/30 points at the moment according to Atlas map.

Or shouldn't I have recieved it from the boss from start since it's a quest item?
