[EA] Bloodmage - Crit Poison Chaos Bolt - very budget friendly

The main Idea behind this build was to have a very budget gear setup and no need of 6-Links.
One of the better ways to scale chaos dmg currently is through crit. Chaos Bolt has only 7% base crit and costs no mana, perfect for Bloodmage using Sunder Flesh and negating the drawback from Sanguimancy.

1-22 widowhail setup lightning arrow + lightning rod
try to get as much flat attack dmg on quiver/rings/gloves, also works for the gas arrow setup
later

22-33 radiant grief helmet + gas arrow

33+ switch to chaos bolt + decompose setup if you got 100% chance to poison on chaos bolt
(level 9 decompose on boots = level 31 req ), priotize getting +level for chaos bolt
10cb/+3chaos level req 36

for stat reqs get atleast 61 dex for the lowest herald of plague level 8, put all other points into int

for the ascendencies take grasping wounds second and switch to sunder flesh when you get the third

Pretty cool, I assume you take crit nodes last while leveling? And for the Ascendency choose Grasping Wounds then path towards Sunder Flesh?

ye crit transition happens after you got everything else. take grasping wounds as second ascendency but change it to sunder flesh after you got the third ascendency, chaos bolt only has 7% base crit.

Very nice, wondering if approaching from a weapon swap angle, could be the exact similar wand, but link with scatter shot, pierce/chain, etc as a clear setup since you can shoot it from so far away. Then you can probably get rid off the boot maybe? Vaal Foundry is kinda of a bad map for that boot though.

good idea havent thought about weaponswap! i still wouldnt get rid of the boots since they hit so hard with all the scalin. they can insta kill rituals/expedition and clear breaches really good.
Did you consider using Queen of the Forest later on? Since you already stack quite a lot of evasion and the weakest point of these boots is low movement speed.
cant use wind dancer, so getting evasion high enough to use queen is going to be hard

How do you get enough int/dex for the wand and herald of plague? Level 20 herald of plague is 205 dex and the wand is about 200 int

There just doesn't seem to be enough stats allocated to meet that and you don't seem to have any dex on gear
