PoE2 Skill is not valid for this weapon set error bug

Does anyone know a fix for this bug I upgraded my sceptre and now my skeleton cleric skill is bugged with this error. Also the passive skill from my sceptre doesn’t summon any skeletons either, I’ve tried everything I can think of. The skeleton cleric skill also will not allow me to select it in my skill menu to remove it or swap it for another skill so it’s just bricked a whole slot for me.

I had the same issue. I had a ring that gave me +1 item slot and had spirit gem socketed when I switched rings. Might have been the same for you?

Omg that was definitely it. But now the socket won’t disappear oh well, thank you. I legit quit this character once this happened, it’ll be nice to try it again with some real gear eventually.
