Trial of Chaos - 4th ascendancy, no ascendancy points

Hello, so I completed Trial of Chaos (level 77, 10 steps). The ultimatum item said I should get ascendancy points by completing it, but after defeating the 3rd boss and getting the rewards, I could not get any ascendancy point (from the statue I believe).

I am very sad because I finally completed it after many failed attempts and then... Nothing :'''(

Edit: some people say that the 4th ascendancy comes from defeating the Trialmaster? This is not clear at all in game because I thought I only needed to complete it once and then it is ok, but in fact it is locked by some RNG keys apparently? It should be reworked I believe because it is demotivating

Same thing happened to me..... beyond frustrating... devs even look at these posts?
