Pyromaniac pact feels overly punishing

I have 75 fire resistance and pyromantic pact and the massive ignite it inflicts does not feel worth the benefit at all. I feel like the two ascendencies after pyromantic pact should be baked into the first node if they want to keep the damage levels on it as is. Honestly if it did half the self damage it currently does I still might not take it.
