It needs to be way more visually apparent when your character is affected by a DoT
In games with damage numbers, you can tell when you're hit with a DoT because your character starts shooting out digits like confetti. (Even better, in games with named buffs/debuffs, the name of said debuff will appear directly on top of your character in giant font.) In this game, you can stand on some random ground degen left by a mob and not notice a thing due to all the enemies and effects going on until you're dead. Yes, obviously the life orb is going down, but it's way in the corner, and the mini life bar just above the character is tiny. Similarly, the edges of the screen turn red when you're low life, but most of the time your eyes are focused in the center. Please experiment with tints or overlays that affect the entire screen (perhaps with menu options for us to adjust the intensity), assuming you're unwilling to do something like having the word "BLEEDING" pop out on top of the character.

I can't even tell when I'm being damaged. The feedback for being hit in this game is really bad.
