Armour adjustments needed

I have been focusing on playing Titan in early access and its fairly obvious that using armor, instead of amor/es or armor/ev, is a bad investment. Except doing this is a waste of attribute points into dex or int for a Titan.

Why does armor NOT reduce incoming spell damage? If you are covered in massive heavy plating, would this not prevent elemental damage at least? The small hits phys hits that we can reduce are never the reason to actually build defense anyways. The danger is spell damage, dmg over time ground effects, and insta-death slams.

Make melee playable by giving armor the ability to reduce elemental damage, please make endurance charges reduce incoming damage or add life reg. Please GGG, give melee a fighting chance if you are going to maintain POE1 mob density and enemy speeds at this level.
