Corpsewade boots deletion bug

Clicking X to equip another set of boots from the inventory randomly deletes the Corpsewade boots I had equipped. I had support gems in the boots and I also had a full inventory. It's the second pair I lost, the first one I didn't realize got deleted but couldn't find them. I think what may happen is if there's not enough slots for the gems in the inventory from the boots it deletes them.
