Respawn Bug in High Priest of The Sun Boss Act 3

When entering the boss room for the High Priest boss there's a respawn beacon right at the beginning of the arena where you enter that doesn't work. You just keep spawning at first checkpoint right next to the Ziggurat Encampment door and have to walk all the way back if you die. Also the checkpoint doesn't work at all.You cant teleport near any other checkpoints because it'll just put you back in the first one again.I have an Xbox S btw. Idk if it matters
