Maps to big
I personally think act 2 and 3 maps are just way to big. A bigger map in fine in act one to help with progress. However on cruel difficulty act 2 and 3 maps beeing so big just becomes such a slog

The maps did feel big.
That being said, I think they can fix this problem without making the maps smaller. Making the maps have similar-ish layouts each time, corresponding to the world map, would solve the issue for me. Nothing more annoying than when a boss location flips from the south side to the north side after you're in town for 9 mins, instance resets, you have to do the entire damn map again and now the boss if literally no where near they were before. And for the love of everyone's sanity - MAKE THE ENTRANCES/EXITS ALIGN WITH THE WORLD MAP. If zone A connects to Zone B on the west side in the world map, that's where the entrance to zone B should (roughly) be in the actual map. It's basic, common sense stuff. |

I agree completely. Act 1 feels alright, Act 2 starts to get to be too much, and by the time you're in Act 3 you've simply had enough. They tried to remedy this problem somewhat with the porting between checkpoints, but they needed to dramatically increase the number of checkpoints on a map to make it mean anything.
Between map size and all itemization aside from skill level being worthless, I'd say the leveling in this game is trash unfortunately. |
