Locked account after repurchase

When you refund Path of Exile on Steam and later decide to repurchase it, your account may end up locked. It seems that the system doesn't have an automated mechanism to handle these scenarios. Here's what likely happens:

1)Initial Purchase: When you buy the game, you gain access to your account as expected.

2)Refund: If you refund the game, your access is revoked, and your account is marked with a "revoked" status.

3)Repurchase: Buying the game again doesn’t automatically remove the "revoked" status or unlock your account.

It appears that accounts flagged as "revoked" remain locked until support intervenes manually. The developers might have designed it this way to avoid potential asynchronous issues, such as conflicting states of account access between Steam and their servers.

If you encounter this issue, the only solution is to contact the game’s support team and request a manual unlock of your account.
