Ascendancy skills quality

How do you actually improve quality of ascendancy skills? You can't remove them in a form of gem from skill panel and using gemcutters on skill itself at the panel does nothing. I am talking about skills like warbringers totem minions or infernalists dog, in case it was not clear. I am stuck, halp!

I have same problem with "Life Remnants" on my blood mage. Description shows quality can increase.

You can't use gemcutters since they're not gems.

Gemling Legionaire can add quality to all SKILLS (although that won't help your Bloodmage).

Maybe there is or will be a support gem or item that adds quality to skills.
