Unable to see notifications or even chat

As the total says since release ive yet to see global chat or get any notifications. I can play with a friend because I know their character name and I send them the party invite. But I can not engage with trade as I’m not geting any party invite notifications. I checked all my notification settings and they say they are all on but the ONLY things I’m seeing are my character voice lines and oddly enough when I tested trade with my friend I see “trade canceled” I do hope this is fixed in January cause I have to have them interact with trade then we go to a low level zone and “trade” by droping the items on the floor and picking up what each other drop.

Hi I also have this problem. There is no fix anywhere as of right now and ggg is on vacation. From what I understand it only happens to accounts on consol who have been playing poe 1 prior to connecting to poe 2. What I did to overcome this problem was creating a new account on my xbox and turning on poe 2 it will then ask you to create a new ggg account. You then have to get that account to 25 be in the same guild as your main account and then use that in order to initiate with trade/global etc. (your guild does need a stash tab) You can use the toon account to buy gear and then trade it to your main account via the guild bank. :(

you have to go into settings and enable most of the chats. its weird.

go to options then general and all the way at the bottom you have to check the global, trade and guild chat to see them. i can see all the chats but still cant trade due to old account lol.
