Trial of Sekhemas, suggestion mouseover tooltip

During trial of sekhemas i get option to select
"Escape Trial
Awards a pledge which can be accepted to change the trial's parameters."

I have no idea what this does.. maybe add an alt-mouseover tooltip for 'trial's parameters' explaining what it does?
